Crü, Dog Pond,

Today was fairly interesting! Woke up a little late, I have trouble keeping on the ball when I don't have a school or work schedule.

Shane ran the dogs today in the pond. It's hilarious watching them chase the ball, but in the pond it's awesome! He chucks the ball into the middle, and then they all race to it! We never got to teach Rook to swim, but she dives in likes its everyday! She's so FAST too! Those webbed feet of hers. The border collies are fast on solid ground, and Rook can't beat Smoky in a dead run. However, in the water, Rook circles the pond in the longest route possible, dives in, and since she didn't get the ball first, torpedos to the dog that DID get it, and sharks right up to her and tries to steal the ball. SO fast in the water. He swam them for an hour, til they were tired and stopped bringing the ball back. We got them out of the water and started running them in the yard to dry them off. They got soooo dirty! Koda got through the fence and basically just plopped down in the middle (HUGE newfoundland doofus.) They were completely worn out before they dried, even in FL!

We took Granma Irma out to lunch, but on our way we got caught in the rain. Irma suggested we try the Bell Tower plaza, where she said there were a few good places. We jumped out under and awning in front of a store called the Mole Hole. They had some painted ceramic plate on discount from 1600 to 950. O_O Out-freaking-rageous. The rain calmed down and the first eatery we found was a little place called Crü (yes, with the umlaut.) It looked kinda neat inside, but I swear it had to be a chic-gay bar thing. There WERE black and pink feathers on the floor from a feather boa... The menus had only 7 things on them, and the prices were from 8-15, but it was like 12 for "shrimp and tuna soft taco" etc. No descriptions, just name. Granma and I got crab cakes for 10 dollars, and Shane got the "Pressed Burger" for 12. Un..believeable. If Granma Irma can leave a place hungry, we were not fed. We had to stop at a Burger King on the way home, spent 10$, and fed all three of us. People go there...
on purpose?? We found reviews for it when we got home, and so many people RAVED about it, then you'd find a reasonable person who was as flabbergasted as we were. I love trying new things, but next time I think we'll do it out side the Bell Tower area.

Planning Busch Gardens for Wednesday (using our Military discounts while we've got time.)

PS: Seen in the grocery store, and I just love it! (Need to get those pix of the dogs moved to the computer too...)
