I'm sharing this because I've been a week trying to find a pot for my Persian Shield, as the poor thing is getting finicky as it tries to outgrow the one it came in. I was shopping wood, as I dislike plastics and just wanted a natural feeling pot. Wrought iron is beautiful, but Persian Shield will need to be brought in for the winter and that can get heavy... I stumbled on these EcoForm pots tonight and love them! They say the pot starts to break down around five years and basically turns back into dirt. Fine with me.

For less than the base price, without shipping, of the cheapest wood planter I'd found, I got the pot, and a saucer, and it shipped. :D

So... StarTrek.Com has released a Starfleet Academy Diploma.  I wanted to see if the design was supported by canon (because I'm a huge fact-check nerd) and in my quest collected what I think to be all the diploma designs officially used on the show. De Groote Museum

 De Groote Museum (The Great Museum) is centered around the concept that everything is connected . It's part of the Artis Royal Zoo complex (like Micropia) but has a separate entrance and fee (included in the Museum Card).  The museum was closed for 75 years (not a typo!) and reopened in 2022. It used to be the  'Main Building' or 'Zoological Museum' for Artis. You can read more about it's scientific use at their website ! ARTIS honorary member and professor of Anatomy Willem Vrolik (1801-1863) gave lectures on the autopsies he performed on animals that had died in the zoo. He published the very first scientific description of various animal species. After the autopsy, the animals were prepared and ended up in the museum.
