(X) Busy Day

So far today, after waking up late from a nightmare culminating in the breaking of my neck, I:

Rescued the cat from being trapped in the spare bedroom.
Sorted the laundry.
Let the dogs out.
Started a load of laundry.
Cleaned the catbox.
Loaded and started the dishwasher.
Ate breakfast and read a little.
Moved Load1 into dryer. Loaded Load2.
Called school about my tuition -
--was forced to leave message. Will try again in half an hour.
Called GCC about SATs, was told to call High School
--WONDERFUL if not gruff Ms Cathy told me she wouldsend them to UOP for me, took the address... lets hope she gets themthere. (No one is telling me where I can find them lol.)
Finishing my UOP application. (Free online ;)
--Requested transcripts be sent from GCC. $5 YAY!
Finished filling out job app for Sallys.
Called school about my tuition again-
--was told what form to print out.. Filled it out.
Then I went with Kimbelry to drop off my application, ate at Mazatlan,and wandered around Lakewood gifts and bought a Beanie Buddie (Magicthe Dragon). ^_^ Now I'm going ot be lazy muwahaha.

So... StarTrek.Com has released a Starfleet Academy Diploma.  I wanted to see if the design was supported by canon (because I'm a huge fact-check nerd) and in my quest collected what I think to be all the diploma designs officially used on the show. I'm still looking though, so if you find one I don't have here, please leave a comment! Confirmed authentic : Voyager epi "Non Sequitur". It appears to be the first time a diploma had been shown, if rabid Trekkers diligently duplicating it is any indication. De Groote Museum

 De Groote Museum (The Great Museum) is centered around the concept that everything is connected . It's part of the Artis Royal Zoo complex (like Micropia) but has a separate entrance and fee (included in the Museum Card).  The museum was closed for 75 years (not a typo!) and reopened in 2022. It used to be the  'Main Building' or 'Zoological Museum' for Artis. You can read more about it's scientific use at their website ! ARTIS honorary member and professor of Anatomy Willem Vrolik (1801-1863) gave lectures on the autopsies he performed on animals that had died in the zoo. He published the very first scientific description of various animal species. After the autopsy, the animals were prepared and ended up in the museum.
