(X) General

We're about ot head out to the Grape Festival, it'll be my first time. ^_^ They say once you've been on to one you'lve been to them all, but I like that sort of thing anyway lol.

Today was a busy day, and I'm very tired. I woke up only around 9-10 though. Kimberly and I got up and ran out the door to see Vanity Fair. It was pretty good. ^_^ I saw a wonderful ad for Phantom of the Opera, which made me just drool in my seat lol. It looks wonderful! I hope they do it justice. Vanity Fair was one of those movies where you'd probably have to see it twice to catch it all, but you wouldnt need to. Its hard to put it into words. They wit and story were charming, but the ending left you thinking. You could zombie out to enjoy it, or think it through. Interesting mix.

In Life: Img Src School has started again and I've got four classes, Organic Chemistry I, Genetics, Introduction for Teaching, and Introduction to Technology for Educators. For those of you of my generation let me emphasize that the latter is "intro to, technology for educators" and not "intro to technology, for educators". Star Trek Diplomas: All of them. I think.

So... StarTrek.Com has released a Starfleet Academy Diploma.  I wanted to see if the design was supported by canon (because I'm a huge fact-check nerd) and in my quest collected what I think to be all the diploma designs officially used on the show. I'm still looking though, so if you find one I don't have here, please leave a comment! Confirmed authentic : Voyager epi "Non Sequitur". It appears to be the first time a diploma had been shown, if rabid Trekkers diligently duplicating it is any indication.
